easy, enable everyone in a classroom situation to participate actively, help
learners to relate what is being taught to real life situations.

Learning Through music
Students watch the vídeo from YouTube Summer of '69 from Bryam Admas.
Students will be given a worksheet with the lyrics of the song. They will have to put the given verbs in past simple.
Students will be allowed to play the song again, so they can write those verbs in the correct space.
ACTIVITY 2.
This resource can be
challenging and a fun way for students to practice past simple.
Learners will be
organized in groups of 4students. Each group will receive a time expression
card and a verb card.
Cut the cards as
indicated, separate into 2 piles and then shuffle.
Students are going to
make true Past simple sentences about themselves.
Put the time
expression cards face down on the desk and share out the verb cards equally
between the students of the group.
Students take turns
to turn over a time expression card and then try to make a true Past simple
sentence matching one of the verb cards.
The other
participants of the group must determine if the answer is true and
grammatically correct.
The aim of the game
is to be the first student to get rid of the verb cards.
To attain successful learning, teachers need to incorporate various materials and resources to their teaching methodology . The main thing is to know how and when to use them in order to achieve teaching and learning goals making them relevant and important to the learners.
It is very important to talk to our students and find out their real needs so we can adapt the class to achieve not only their needs but also their interests, goals, and dreams.
